Oregon Trail Memorial Bridge
Oregon Trail Memorial Bridge (1931)—In celebration of Boise's sesquicentennial in 2013, the Boise Department of Arts & History commissioned Custom Plaster to recreate the Oregon Trail Memorial Bridge’s light poles and fixtures (the originals having been damaged beyond repair during an overhaul of the bridge's deck in the 1990s) and recreate the missing pylon torchieres that had originally lit the underside of the bridge.
The project to restore the Oregon Trail Memorial Bridge, a National Historic Landmark, received an Orchid Award from Preservation Idaho for excellence in Historic Preservation in 2014.
